I haven't had a lot of painting time lately; but managed to finish two more of the cosmetic series. This one and the next post are the last in the series and will be featured in the Howden Gallery in Oregon City from May through July.
Maybe I'm just hungry for green and blue right now, but I LOVE this one. I also love this particular background. The aqua is the perfect complement to the coral tones of the center bottle, and the "modern" design of the wallpaper immediately transports me to the 50's (even if that's not when it's from).You have a way of putting emotional commentary in your work that really makes it special.
