My eye is pulled consistently to the near-vertical petal just left of center, and the texture of the seed head right around that. All of the other textures and lines and tones create a sensation of radiating delicacy and brittle grace, but always my eye goes back to the center, as to the eyes of a portrait.I think the violet tone underneath the more intensely orange petal there is the color contrast that draws me the most.The suggestion of light from the right side adds to the feeling of a portrait.Great job.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
